# Welcome to Dutchman Bridge

Dutchman Bridge is a Partner API for businesses that want to give their customers stablecoin balances with local-currency on- and off-ramps. You register a customer once, take them through KYC, fund their account, and from then on they can buy, sell and send from their balance. These docs cover everything you need to integrate.

* **Guides**: step-by-step walkthroughs ([quickstart](/partner-integration/partner-quickstart.md): register → KYC → fund → buy/sell/send, [authentication](/partner-integration/authentication.md), [webhooks](/partner-integration/partner-webhooks.md)).
* [**API reference**](/api-reference/api-reference.md): every endpoint with its request and response schemas, generated from the OpenAPI spec.

## Base URL

All endpoints are prefixed with `/api/v1`; the Partner API lives under `/api/v1/partner/v1/...`.

```
https://app.dutchmanbridge.com/api/v1/partner/v1
```

## Authentication

Partner API calls carry your API key in the `x-api-key` header. See [Authentication](/partner-integration/authentication.md) for details.

## Next steps

1. Sign up as a business at [dutchmanbridge.com](https://dutchmanbridge.com), complete KYB, and issue an API key from the dashboard.
2. Follow the [Partner quickstart](/partner-integration/partner-quickstart.md) to your first transaction.
3. Register a webhook and verify deliveries: see [Webhooks](/partner-integration/partner-webhooks.md).
4. Browse the [API reference](/api-reference/api-reference.md) for everything else.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.dutchmanbridge.com/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
